The Cult of Rakdos
The Cult of Rakdos is the black/red guild from the plane and city of Ravnica.
Founded by parun Rakdos,
an ancient demon, the Cult of Rakdos's purpose is twofold: to attend to menial labor and the services industry,
which includes some less-than-savory offerings, such as assassination, as well as more agreeable ones, such as
the catering and entertainment industries; and to placate the demon and prevent him from instilling chaos in the populace
outside of his followers.
Members of the demon-worshipping guild are referred to as cultists. Rakdos sleeps for months to years at a time,
but when he is awake, he demands entertainment, to which his Cult drive themselves to greater and greater extremes to
gain his approval.
With his multi-millennia of existence, this is no easy feat, resulting in the sadomasochism and
bloodlust amongst the most zealous members.
This forms the raison d'ĂȘtre of the Cult of Rakdos.
Like extreme utilitarians or hedonists, the Cult of Rakdos is a guild that places a premium on personal pleasure, or "fun",
even if it cruelly causes pain and suffering to others and themselves. Some of the crueler, eviler, and more sadistic members
of the Cult directly and intentionally inflict pain on others.
Other than being a guild of miscreants, the Cult of Rakdos
does have a civic function in Ravnican society per the Guildpact; some members work as manual laborers and even slaves, and
the guild overall has a niche as Ravnica's entertainment industry, such as clubs.
Rakdos loves making a show of burn, destruction of everything (except notably enchantments), and sacrifice triggers.

Clan Kolaghan
Kolaghan is one of the five elder dragons of Tarkir.
She is titanic, covered in spines, features four feathered wings and can breathe lightning. Feral and brutal,
she enjoys the hunt and the kill more than the resulting meal.
Unlike the other dragons, Kolaghan does not appear to speak draconic, only communicating in lightning flashes and violence.
The dragonlord became a fearsome leader, using violence, cruelty, and her trademark unpredictability to keep the
clan in line.
Under her reign, the Mardu name was forgotten, and the group became known as clan Kolaghan. Since the dragonlord
rarely took interest in the clan except to express her dominance, the Kolaghan followed other dragons from her brood that were
born from the storms.
The reckless Kolaghan took what they wanted when they wanted it, including power and dominance within the clan. The strongest
dragons, the aggressive Warkites, were huge, strong, and battle-scarred.
Non-dragon members of the clan were known to suffer
from a powerful bloodlust called "the Crave".
Cannibalism was not unusual, and the Blood-Chin orcs and humans sought out humanoid
flesh.
The Foul-Tongue Shamans of the Kolaghan used dark magic by perverting the Draconic language of Ugin into something sinister.

The Endriders
The Endriders are a racing team from Gastal that competed in the Ghirapur Grand Prix on Avishkar.
They are described as nomadic apocalypse punk warriors.
Gastal is a dying plane crossed by mounted scavengers and nomads who roar across its permanently sunset-washed
landscapes seeking rare oases to settle or raid. Water, food, and peace are in short supply, but at the death of their homeworld,
gas and oil are plentiful.
With nothing left but the open road and a bottomless tank of fuel,
the plane's population has taken to their roaring machines to chase glory ahead and leave the dead behind.
After the New Phyrexian Invasion ended and the Omenpaths opened, Endrider gangs rode their machines to freedom, leaving Gastal
without a look in the rearview mirror. They found the Multiverse ripe for raiding but encountered a new problem.
While food, water,
and rest could be found in plenty, gasoline was scarce, a controlled substance at best and unknown at worst.
Accustomed to driving
their machines to the max, they quickly ran dry of fuel. Stranded, the Endriders sought alternate methods of fueling their vehicles
and fell into all manner of mercenary work.
- Main races: Humans, Mutants, Vampires, Viashino
- Main classes: Nomads, Berserkers, Rogues
The College of Stingerquill
Stingerquill is the School of Painful Words at Hexhaven University on the Echoverse version of Arcavios. It is aligned and the
counterpart of Silverquill. The founder of the school is TBA.
Where Silverquill is all about using words to stay out of trouble through mechanics like goad, Stingerquill could lean on taunting,
which would involve forcing opponents to attack, sending creatures into battles they wouldn't have opted for otherwise.
Not much else is known yet, due to the set and story not being released yet.
