Magic: The Gathering and why I'm surprised my friends still play this game with me

Okay. So like, I wouldn't call exactly myself a mean person, but in this game?
So I may be a bit obsessed with this little card game and spend too much time and money making decks.
And I may tend to make my decks as strong as possible with my resources, because well, it's really fun :D.
But sadly this has the side effect of almost all my decks now being hell to play against. And I should know, as sometimes my friends do play with my decks.
And holy shit, some of them are just evil.

My funny decks that I've made :3

I've built quite a few decks, simply because I enjoy the aspect of finding the best in slot cards without just playing with a credit card. Some of them more asocial, some more just funny.

Day of the Dinosaurs

pantlaza

One of my older decks, it was originally a precon (a preconstructed deck u can buy), which I've been adding cards to over the years.
The online decklist isn't fully accurate, simply cus I lack the money for some cards, but it's still pretty strong and fun to play with.
Especially once you get out the 9/9 dino for free, who then untaps your lands to be able to play even more dinos.
It just sucks that the Jurassic World cards cost so much, because those would fit right in here. But atleast I do have an Indominus Rex in there.

Strategy: Cheat out big, strong and costly Dinosaurs.

The Walls are closing in

Arcades

This one's fun. Really fun.
Walls in Magic are a bit weird, because all of them are equipped with the keyword "Defender". A keyword is a certain mechanic that simply got used on so many cards that they eventually changed it into a single word, which then applies that effect to the card. Thing is, the defender keyword was only introduced in a later set, which means that many of my wall cards do not have the keyword, since i bought older, cheaper versions of the card or it just never got a reprint. BUT, the rules do state that every wall has the keyword. So all's good.
There's also The Wall of Ba Sing Se in there.
Which has 30hp. A player has 40.

Strategy: Big, cheap walls, steamroll the enemy.

Tidus

Aka "Grow you dumb Featherthing"
This one is, according to my friend, absolute hell to play against. The worst one. Tidus is straight from hell.
The whole deck is about making your creatures and Tidus stronger with +1/+1 Counters. A lot of counters. And Tidus proliferates, which means he puts more counters on everything. I once managed to get Tidus up to 26/26 by turn 4 or 5.
Funny Stuff.
And Mechagodzilla and Michelangelo are in this deck :3.

Strategy: Make your creatures stronger, then make them even stronger AND unblockable.

Copy that shi

prismari

So. If the previous deck was bad, this one is infinitely worse.
Storm is a mechanic straight from the deepest rings of hell, designed to bring misery to anyone that plays against it. Basically you get to copy a spell for all the spells that were cast this round before it. So if this is your third spell this round, you get to copy it twice, means basically casting the spell 3 times. This gets out of hand fast. Only problem is, the deck is a bit slow and inconsistent. Sure, it's still almost undefeated, but its still really slow. But it's also packed full with wincons, so once you draw the right cards, you've pretty much won.

Strategy: Sit there for 4 rounds doing nothing, then win with the power of random bullshit.
